Classic Scorpion Solitaire

Scorpion Solitaire

Scorpion Solitaire is a solitaire card game in which the goal is to build four columns down by suit from King to Ace. Cards do not have to be fully packed to move between the columns, so any card that is face up can be dragged onto a column that has a top card value one greater than the card being dragged, and is of the same suit.

How to play Scorpion

To play Scorpion Solitaire, 49 cards are dealt into 7 columns. 8 cards are dealt face down and 41 cards are dealt face up. The last 3 cards in the deck can be dealt into the first three columns at any time by clicking the deck at the bottom of the game screen. Scorpion Solitaire does not have foundations, so the player's goal is to arrange the cards into 4 columns building down from King to Ace. The player can pull any portion of a column where the lowest card he grabs is face up. That stack of cards can be placed on any column where the top card in the destination column is of the same suit and one value higher than the bottom card in the column being moved. Any card that is facing down will be flipped face up when there are no longer any cards on top of it.
